Editorial & Advice Approach
How I prepare educational information and separate general guidance from a customer-specific recommendation.
Education first
The public knowledge pages are designed to explain the questions customers commonly ask about solar, batteries, electricity costs and proposals. They are general education, not a final design or financial recommendation for a particular property.
Customer-specific recommendations use customer-specific information
Before recommending a system, I may review electricity bills, usage data, tariffs, existing solar, site information, future energy needs and the customer's goals. More complex commercial and battery projects may require interval data or additional technical information.
I show the assumptions
Expected generation, savings and payback are estimates. A proposal should make material assumptions clear, including electricity prices, export value, usage, generation, battery operation and applicable incentives.
Time-sensitive information is checked
Government incentives, network rules, tariffs and product information can change. Time-sensitive content should include a review date and should be checked against current authoritative sources before it is used in a live customer proposal.
AI can help organise—not replace judgement
AI tools may be used to help structure notes, prepare drafts, identify repeated customer questions and convert an approved answer into different content formats. Final recommendations, technical decisions, pricing and sensitive customer communication remain under adviser control.
Installation is completed by qualified installation partners
I manage the customer discussion, assessment, proposal and ongoing relationship. Once approved, the physical installation is completed by the appropriate qualified installation partner. I remain involved through post-installation follow-up and issue resolution where required.
